Make the first visit
feel simpler.
An example family-dentist website that answers the practical questions first: care, visit costs, opening hours and how to request a visit.
Marlow Dental Studio
Design a welcoming website for a fictional family dental practice. A new patient should be able to understand the care offered and find the next step without calling just to get basic information.
- What a visitor should do
- Find a service, check practical visit information, then try selecting an appointment preference.
- What I did
- Design, page layout, writing, and a site that works on any screen.
- Status
- Example project. The business, team and images are made up. This shows my design work, not a client’s results.
Every detail
has a job.
Reassurance before the request
Plain-language service descriptions and FAQs sit alongside written-estimate and first-visit information, so the visitor can resolve questions before taking action.
A calm visual language
Deep teal and sea-glass tones, a friendly serif for headings and the logo’s two arches framing each photo support a quieter healthcare identity. The existing illustrative imagery sets the tone without serving as proof of a real practice.
A clear next step
The appointment buttons lead to a clearly labelled demo. Visitors choose sample preferences and see a summary without sharing personal or health information.
Try it like
a customer would.
First-visit steps that follow as you scroll, a care list, opening hours, expandable FAQs, layouts for phones and computers and a browser-only appointment demonstration.
Try the appointment demoWhat the demo does
Choose preferences and review a summary in your browser. Nothing is sent, saved or booked.
What a real launch needs
Approved business details and imagery, a connected booking or enquiry service, and full testing with the owner. This example has no live calendar, Google listing or real customer results behind it.
