Hospitality · Example project
From “where to eat?”
to a plan.
An example restaurant website that puts the food, the atmosphere and the practical details within easy reach.
Olive & Ash
Design a website for a fictional neighbourhood restaurant serving dinner and weekend brunch. Help a visitor decide whether it fits the occasion and plan a visit on their phone.
- What a visitor should do
- Browse this week’s menu, find dinner or brunch hours, then try a table preference.
- What I did
- Design, page layout, writing, and a site that works on any screen.
- Status
- Example project. The business, team and images are made up. This shows my design work, not a client’s results.
Every detail
has a job.
Let the food lead
This week’s menu is readable on the page, with a tab each for dinner, brunch, drinks, private dining and catering, instead of hidden behind a download. Short text explains the restaurant’s seasonal, wood-fired cooking.
Warmth with structure
Ash-grey paper, charcoal type and the olive and ember from the logo read like a printed menu card, with the wood-fired oven framed in the olive’s shape. It gives this example a different character from the dental one.
Make planning easy
Hours and common questions cover the practical details. The reservation demonstration lets visitors choose sample preferences and inspect the next step without contacting a restaurant.
Try it like
a customer would.
A weekly menu you browse by tab, dinner and brunch hours, expandable FAQs, layouts for phones and computers and a browser-only reservation demonstration.

Choose preferences and review a summary in your browser. Nothing is sent, saved or booked.
What a real launch needs
Approved business details and imagery, a connected booking or enquiry service, and full testing with the owner. This example has no live calendar, Google listing or real customer results behind it.
